MISSION & VISION

A Conscious Tune (ACT) will revive and preserve the unique culture of New Orleans by raising and allocating funds for local grassroots organizations that have a remarkable volunteer base and a significant impact toward improving living conditions in New Orleans.

ACT produces and promotes benefit concerts that generate funds for New Orleans and raises public awareness about the organizations that are actively repairing our city. Through benefit concerts and a website, ACT will educate the music community about the issues still afflicting New Orleans and the positive ways in which organizations are coming together to find sustainable solutions for the people.

A Conscious Tune is dedicated in loving memory to Sarah Ann Venning. Sarah is the co-founder of ACT & helps inspire every aspect of this company. She was a healer, massage therapist, doula & friend among many other specialties that most of us could barely imagine understanding at such a young age. Sarah is & will always be a part of us & all whom we touch. Let her memory remind us of the importance of nurturing our relationships. May we celebrate her life & realize that no matter what else may be happening in the world, each day is as much of a blessing & a miracle as the day each of us were born. Sarah’s passion, dedication, enthusiasm & spirit will always be driving forces behind A Conscious Tune.
